FuturePal Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of FuturePal

FuturePal is an informational and comparison service. It answers general questions about education, careers, skills, certifications, side hustles and income opportunities, presents educational content, and — where you ask us to — helps match you with third-party products, services or providers that may fit the information you share with us.

Use of the Service is free to you. You are never required to apply for any product shown.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and your own.

4. Financial Information Disclaimer

FuturePal provides informational, educational, comparison, recommendation and lead-matching services only.

• FuturePal is not a school, college, university, training provider, licensing body, accreditation agency, employer, staffing or recruiting agency, career counselor, lender or financial advisor.
• FuturePal does not make admissions, enrollment, financial aid, licensing, certification or hiring decisions, and does not guarantee that you will be admitted to, accepted by, hired by, certified by or funded by any program, employer or provider.
• Nothing on the Service is career, educational, immigration, legal, tax or financial advice. Content is general in nature and may not fit your individual circumstances. Consider speaking with a qualified professional, school advisor or licensing board before making a decision.
• Any earnings, salary, cost, timeline or job-placement figures shown are illustrative industry information, not a promise or projection of your own results. Outcomes depend on your effort, location, employer, program and many factors outside our control.
• Any indication that you are "qualified", "matched" or "eligible" reflects only our own matching rules — it is not an approval, offer, commitment or pre-approval from any provider.

5. Third-Party Products and Services

The Service may present, link to, or connect you with third-party providers and websites. We do not control those third parties.

• Third-party providers set their own eligibility requirements, application processes, rates, fees, terms and privacy practices.
• Your relationship with any provider is solely between you and that provider.
• We are not responsible for the products, services, content, decisions or conduct of any third party.
• Linking to or featuring a provider is not an endorsement or a guarantee of suitability.

6. Compensation and Affiliate Disclosure

FuturePal may receive compensation from companies that are featured on, advertised through, or linked from the Service — including when you click a link, submit an inquiry, or open an account or product with a provider.

Compensation may influence which products appear and how they are presented. It does not change the educational answers we give you, and we aim to explain why an option was shown to you. Our listings do not include every available product or company in the market.

7. Accuracy and Availability of Information

We work to keep content current, but rates, offers, bonuses, fees, eligibility requirements, availability and product terms change frequently and may be presented with errors or delays.

Always verify current terms directly with the provider before applying. The Service is provided on an "as available" basis and may be interrupted, changed or discontinued at any time.

8. SMS Verification

If you voluntarily provide a mobile phone number and request verification, we may send you a transactional SMS message containing a one-time verification code. These messages are sent only in response to your request, to confirm that the number belongs to you.

Verification messages are transactional — they are not marketing or promotional SMS messages, and they are not a subscription to recurring messages. Message frequency depends on how many verification requests you make. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out of further messages or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Using FuturePal does not, by itself, sign you up for marketing or promotional text messages. Any marketing or lead-related consent is a separate, clearly presented choice.

9. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, current and complete information about yourself.
• Only submit a phone number or email address that you own or are authorized to use.
• Keep your information up to date so that content and matches remain relevant.
• Review the terms of any third-party provider before applying or enrolling.

10. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purpose.
• Submit false, stolen or other people's personal information, or impersonate anyone.
• Attempt to interfere with, overload, probe or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Scrape, copy, resell or systematically extract content or data from the Service.
• Use automated means to submit forms, generate verification messages, or otherwise abuse the Service.
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its content, design, text, graphics, logos and software, is owned by Koino Media, LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. No other license or right is granted.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT OR ERROR-FREE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KOINO MEDIA, LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY THIRD-PARTY PRODUCT OR PROVIDER.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Changes to the Service or These Terms

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction.
